Goodbye until...
Last Saturday, Zen passed away... She was with us for a brief 15 years. From the day that Jill had rescued her as a kitten from being thrown into a dumpster, hers was a special life. She was a timid soul until some old friends, Max and Ken would rub her belly until she came out of her shell. At about that time, our oldest cat, Isis had weaned her litter and they were already sent to foster kitty homes. She took Zen on as one of her own. They made a great team for many years. Zen had been having trouble walking up and down the stairs lately. She also had lost a lot of weight. Her time had come, but she had used her borrowed time quite nicely. I miss you already,Zen......
