My son and I took advantage of the beautiful weather hitting this region lately and decided to go for a hike to Little Rock Pond. The pond is located on top of Mt. Tabor, and to get there you can drive your car to one of the parking lots near the top. After that it's just a 2 mile hike to the pond. Since you're already on the mountain, it's a relatively flat hike. The water is so clear you can see to the bottom about 30 feet out from the shore. A friend of mine used to carry his canoe the whole 2 miles up! And before you go you should check out Geocaching.com to find the coordinates of the cache that I placed up there! Enjoy...I was raised by a pack of wild amoeba in a petri dish.. Couldn't stand the heat of the bunsen burner,so I struck out on my own... Now,looking to my right I can ascertain that the one who really belongs in this lab outpost is he that will always tempt the fates..And from another perspective.....
